I am an high school teacher in San Diego, California - I teach engineering classes and robotics is a big part of it. If you already have robotics in your school then you are all set! But if you don't, please read on.....
I started a program last year I call the "Philippines Robotics initiative" (https://mylearning.powerschool.com/efischer/philippinesroboticsinitiative) with the goal of inspiring students there to study STEM fields in college. Our approach is unique as we provide everything free of charge! We train teachers, provide robotic components, pay a $50 a month stipend for a teacher to run the club a couple hours a week, and provide financial aid for the students to attend local colleges.
I will be in Tondo Friday through Sunday June 21-23 providing training for another school and I'd like to invite one or more of your teachers to attend. They would leave the training with 5 arduino robot kits that they could use to start a club.
